Young Enterprise Success

In recent years Rawlett pupils have been involved with the Young Enterprise competition. Year 10 pupils have been working with their teacher Mike Harper and a local business partner who have coached them through the development of a business project. 'Team Rawlett' have developed a 'Stay Safe Online' booklet that updates parents to help them support their children with social media.

The regional finals were held on 22nd March and Team Rawlett won the South and East Staffordshire Young Enterprise Company Award as the best business. In addition, they also took the best Customer Relations award, the best Presentation and the best Company Report. It is unusual for a team to win so many awards and it was noted by the judges that our Year 10 pupils were successful against other sixth form teams!

We now move to the Staffordshire finals on May 10th which then could lead to the West Midlands event.
